Ombar chocolate bars contain no refined sugar, artificial preservatives or vegetable oil. Instead the ingredients are natural, untampered with, and almost entirely organic. The Goji Bar is sweetened with coconut sugar. This is not the same as cane sugar. It is low GI which is better than agave nectar. The bar is produced using a low temperature, so it does not ruin the natural ingredients. Instead the ingredients retain their full nutritional values. The sweetness of the bar is thanks to the cacao's properties and natural fruit sugars. Dark 60% raw chocolate enriched with both freeze-dried goji berry powder and whole gojis. Like all Ombars this bar is sweetened with Coconut Sugar. Coconut sugar is made from the sap of coconut palm trees; extracted once the blossom is removed. This nectar is gently heated until it becomes a delicious, rich unrefined sugar. Coconut sugar is not a raw food.
