Spices FAQs
Should I buy whole or ground spices? Whole spices like cumin, coriander and peppercorns keep their aroma far longer and can be toasted and ground fresh for the best flavour. Ground spices are quicker to use. We stock both.
How long do spices keep? Ground spices are at their best within about a year, while whole spices can hold their flavour for several years. If a spice barely smells of anything, it's time to replace it.
How should I store them? Keep them in airtight containers away from heat, light and moisture, and not directly above the hob, where steam and warmth dull them fastest.
Are your spices organic? Many are certified organic, with everyday options alongside at a lower price. The product page tells you which is which.
Do Club members pay less? Yes. WFE Club members get lower prices plus free delivery on mainland UK orders over £50. It's free to join. You can join the Club here.
