- Add the spices, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a small saucepan.
- Add the milk to the pan and gentle whisk to combine as you heat the milk for around 5 minutes. Be careful not to boil the milk.
- Pour the golden milk into two mugs, sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and decorate with star anise.
