Ingredients

whole grain pasta 1 package
- broccoli 2 cups

organic green pesto 1 jar
-
broken walnuts 1 cup
- 1 garlic clove
-
extra virgin olive oil
-
lemon zest (half lemon) or lemon peel powder ½ tsp
- salt for taste
- black pepper for taste

organic cayenne pepper 1 pinch
Directions
- In large pan, heat up some some olive oil, garlic and cayenne pepper.
- Add broccoli florets (small, equal size) and let them sizzle for a few minutes.
- Prepare the pasta in the separate pot. Cook it in boiling water, with a bit of salt. Time: indicated on the packet. Drain the pasta.
- Add the pasta to the pan with broccoli, add green pesto, walnuts and mix.
- Add salt and pepper for taste, and mix. Top it with a dash of extra virgin olive oil and freshly grated lemon zest. Enjoy!
