Pickles FAQs

Are your pickles fermented or vinegar pickles? Both. Some are fermented in a traditional salt brine, which leaves them with live cultures, while others are vinegar pickles, which gives a sharper tang and a long shelf life. The product page tells you which is which.

Are pickles vegan? The ones here are plant-based: vegetables in brine, vinegar and spices. As always, check the individual product page if you need to be sure for a particular jar.

How long do they keep? Unopened, pickles keep for a long time in the cupboard. Once opened, keep them refrigerated and submerged in their brine, and they'll stay crisp for several weeks.

What do I use them for? Sliced into sandwiches and burgers, chopped into potato salad or tartare, served beside cheese and cold cuts, or eaten straight from the jar.
