Aduki (Also known as Adzuki) Beans are a small red bean with a typically sweet and nutty flavour. Aduki beans are exceptionally common in Asia and are a frequent player in oriental cuisine, making very good Bean Sprouts.
A cool, lesser known trick with adzuki beans, is cooking white rice with them, infusing their deep maroon colour in the rice making for a visually impressive and equally delicious meal.
