Our bean range
From creamy butter beans and cannellini to meaty kidney and earthy black beans, we stock dried beans for cooking from scratch and ready-cooked organic tins for speed — organic and everyday options throughout. Looking for lentils too? See our beans, lentils & pulses collection.
How to cook dried beans
Soak dried beans overnight, drain, then simmer in fresh water until tender. Boil kidney beans hard for 10 minutes first. Soaking shortens cooking and makes beans easier to digest.

Frequently asked questions about beans
Do dried beans need soaking?
Most do — an overnight soak shortens cooking time and improves digestibility. Kidney beans must also be boiled hard for 10 minutes.
Are beans a good source of protein?
Yes — beans are high in plant protein and fibre, and low in fat.
Dried or canned — which is better?
Dried beans are cheaper and firmer; canned beans are cooked and ready in minutes. We stock both.
Do Club members pay less?
Yes. WFE Club members get lower prices plus free delivery on mainland UK orders over £50. It's free to join. You can join the Club here.
