Ingredients
- 200 g prunes
- 150 g walnuts
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or dark agave
- 1 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tbsp carob
- 1 tbsp rum
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder (to roll)
Directions
- Soak the prunes in hot water and put aside for 1 hour until they soften.
- Chop the walnuts into very small pieces.
- In a bowl blend the soft prunes. Add walnuts, rum, maple syrup, cocoa and carob. Combine all the ingredients well into a dough.
- Form ball shapes truffles. Roll them in cocoa. You can also dip them in melted chocolate. Keep them in the fridge overnight.
