Chocolate FAQs
What's the difference between cocoa and cacao? Both come from the cacao bean. "Cacao" usually means raw or minimally processed powder, which keeps more of its natural compounds, while "cocoa" is roasted at higher temperatures for a smoother, classic flavour. Both work in baking and drinks.
Do you have vegan and dairy-free chocolate? Yes, there are vegan, raw and dairy-free options throughout the collection. Check the individual product page to confirm for a specific bar.
What is carob? Carob is a naturally sweet, caffeine-free alternative to cocoa, made from the carob pod. It has a mellow, slightly malty flavour and is popular for those avoiding caffeine.
How should I store chocolate? Keep it cool, dry and out of direct sunlight, ideally around 15–18°C. A pale "bloom" on the surface is just cocoa fat or sugar and is harmless to eat.
