The chestnut is a brilliant versatile nut, being used in lots of dishes from sweet to savoury, breakfast to dinner, and starter to dessert. They can be eaten steamed, boiled, dried, roasted, and wouldn't you know it, pureed! Basically what we are trying to say is you can use them on/in/with everything and they will improve it!
This Chestnut Puree uses Merchant Gourmets' best-selling chestnuts, slowly roasts them then blends them until smooth to create a rich puree. It can be used in everything from soups and sauces to baking and desserts and is a great plant-based alternative.
