A hearty black bean burger with lots of flavour.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan add the beans and cook until soft, drain and rinse beans in a sieve and pat dry
  2. Mix the ground linseed with water in a small bowl
  3. Set aside for 5 minutes to thicken
  4. Add oats and sunflower seeds into food processor and pulse
  5. Add all other ingredients into food processor
  6. pulse until combined - be sure to maintain texture (4-6 pulses should be enough)
  7. Take mixture into lightly oiled hands and form into patties
  8. If mixture is too dry add water, if too sticky add more oats as needed
  9. add a some oil into a frying pan, heat over medium heat
  10. Add the patties
  11. Fry on both sides until firm, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  12. Assemble patties with choice fresh ingredients a toasted bun and boom, you're done. Enjoy :)
