Diatomaceous Earth Face Mask

DIY face masks can be cheaper than store-bought, it helps the environment by reducing plastic packaging and are easy enough to make.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a small pot or bowl, add the Diatomaceous Earth
  2. Mix with either milk, aloe vera gel or diluted in honey to make a paste with a thick consistency.
  3. Lightly massage the paste onto your face using small, circular motions.
  4. Allow the paste to set for 1-2 minutes
  5. Gently remove with a warm washcloth.
  6. This last stage is when most of the exfoliation occurs.
  7. Pat your skin dry and apply your preferred toner (should you make use of one) and moisturise
