This gravy is dairy-free and meat-free. Perfect to pair with nut roast, baked potatoes and roasted veggies.

  1. In a small sauce pan melt plant-based butter, add (sifted) flour and whisk until it becomes smooth and creamy.
  2. Add vegetable broth, onion powder, miso, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and whisk until smooth (on medium-high heat) for a few minutes (bring to boil). Add the nutritional yeast and mix. Add some fresh or dried thyme for an extra flavour.
  3. You can add a spoon of peanut butter (optional). Serve warm with potatoes, roasted veggies, nut roast etc. Be careful with salt if you add more soy sauce.
