Toast With Hummus And Asparagus

Made with hummus and fresh asparagus this delicious toast can be a great snack during the day! It can also become your favourite healthy breakfast or a quick lunch. Eat it whenever you want and enjoy the goodness of whole foods! Don't forget to make the hummus before!

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of sourdough bread
  • 1 bunch of fresh green asparagus
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tbs of olive oil
  • freshly grounded black pepper
  • 100 g of home made hummus

Directions

  1. Heat up a small pan. In the meantime, wash the asparagus and cut the dry ends (2-3 cm)
  2. Add olive oil and asparagus on the pan.
  3. Fry on medium heat for a few minutes. Then turn the asparagus on the other side and fry a few more minutes until soft.
  4. In the meantime, place the slice of sourdough bread into the toaster.
  5. Spread some home made hummus on the bread.
  6. Place the asparagus on top of it. Add pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper. Enjoy!
