People who eat minimally processed vegan and vegetarian food are less likely to suffer from dangerous obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). They also looked at the effect of phytonutrients found in these foods. The study results were published in the medical journal ‘ JNCI Cancer Spectrum’ . Beneficial isoflavones in soy The study results show that intake of soy isoflavones from soy was linked to a 26% reduction in breast cancer recurrence.
