While organic farming is a vital part of a sustainable planet, the "Organic" label can sometimes be used as a "health halo" to disguise foods that have been stripped of their nutritional integrity. If you have to choose between an organic product that has been factory-refined and a conventional product in its raw, whole state, the whole food wins every time. Here is why Unprocessed should always be your number one priority. 1. The "Organic Junk Food" Trap The food industry has mastered the art of making ultra-processed foods (UPFs) appear healthy by using organic ingredients.
