Cashew Nuts FAQs
Should I buy whole cashews or pieces? Whole kernels look best for snacking and serving, while pieces cost less per kilo and are perfect when the cashews are going to be cooked, baked or blended anyway, like in curries and dairy-free sauces.
How do I make cashew cream or cashew milk? Soak raw cashews in water (a few hours, or boil for 10–15 minutes to speed it up), then blend with fresh water until smooth. Less water gives a thick cream, more gives a pourable milk.
Are cashews good for you? They're a natural source of plant protein, healthy fats and minerals like magnesium and copper. A small handful makes a filling snack.
How should I store cashews? Keep them in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, and reseal the pouch or use an airtight container once opened. The fridge or freezer extends their life further.
Do Club members pay less? Yes. WFE Club members get lower prices plus free delivery on mainland UK orders over £50. It's free to join. You can join the Club here.
