Spreads
Few things spoil a good slice of toast like a spread built on cheap palm oil, refined sugar and artificial preservatives. This collection is the opposite: spreads made from honest, natural ingredients, with the rich flavour and none of the hidden extras.

RecipeSunflower pestoHealthy Spreads: Nut Butters, Jams & Savoury
Good ingredients, good taste
Whether you want a protein-rich topping for porridge, a naturally sweet preserve or a savoury dip, there's something here to upgrade the cupboard:
Nut butters: a wide choice of single-ingredient and natural nut butters, including almond, walnut, cashew, macadamia and hazelnut. After something specific? Browse the full nut butter collection.
Seed butters: nut-free alternatives made from roasted sunflower and sesame seeds, good for spreading, baking and blending into dressings.
Jams & preserves: fruit-rich jams that lean on the fruit's own sweetness rather than heavy syrups.
Savoury spreads: flavours from further afield, including our popular Ajvar, the roasted pepper staple of Balkan cooking, in both the classic hot red pepper and the green pepper versions.
It's an easy way to make toasties, sandwiches and everyday snacking that bit better, with spreads that taste good and keep their ingredient lists short.

Spreads FAQs
Are these spreads free from palm oil and added sugar? The collection avoids cheap palm oil, refined sugar and artificial preservatives, with many spreads made from single ingredients. Check the individual product page for the exact ingredients of each.
What's a good nut-free spread? The sunflower and sesame seed butters are nut-free alternatives that spread, bake and blend much like nut butter. As always, check the product page for allergen information.
What is Ajvar? It's a roasted red (or green) pepper spread from the Balkans, savoury and slightly smoky. It's great on bread, with cheese, stirred through pasta or as a dip.
How should I store spreads once opened? Natural nut and seed butters are fine in a cool cupboard but keep longer in the fridge; stir back any separated oil. Jams and opened savoury jars are best refrigerated.
How does WFE Club save me money? Club members get lower prices across the range plus free delivery on mainland UK orders over £50. It's free to join and the member price shows at checkout. You can join the Club here.
