Ingredients
- 1 bottle of red wine
- 1 cup sweet vermouth
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 dried lemon slices (or lemon peel)
- 4 dried orange slices (or orange peel)
- 12 cloves
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 dried ginger pieces
- 6 cardamon pods
- 4 star anise
- 10 whole allspice
Directions
- In a large pot, mix all the ingredients. Simmer gently for about 15 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove the spices and dried fruit before serving.
- Enjoy warm!
