How are freeze dried fruits made?

Are freeze dried fruits healthy? 

Freeze dried fruits and dehydrated fruits contain the same amount of nutrients as fresh  fruits. They are packed with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and fibre and do not contain more sugar than fresh foods (no sugar is added during the process of freeze drying). 

How can you use freeze dried fruits? 

You can eat freeze dried fruits alone as healthy snack, add them to your smoothie mixture, juices, pancake dough, as a topping for pancakes, morning cereal, in baking for cakes, muffins, pastries.
