Why light roast?
Heavy roasting can leave beans tasting bitter or burnt. A gentle light roast keeps the Arabica's bright, fruity and floral notes intact – and retains more of the bean's natural antioxidants. Arabica is also naturally smoother and sweeter than the Robusta used in cheaper blends.
How to brew it
Pour-over / V60: slow filtration shows off a light roast best – clean, bright and fruity.
Cafetière: a gentle steep for a full-bodied but smooth weekend brew.
Cold brew: steep overnight in cold water for a mellow, naturally sweet summer drink.
With milk: pairs well with the oat and almond options in our plant-based milk collection.
