Our signature Apple Cider Vinegar
Made by the slow French Orleans method, fermented gently in wooden barrels rather than rushed. It is left raw, unfiltered and unpasteurised, with the mother – the cloudy strands of proteins, enzymes and friendly bacteria that mark a proper cider vinegar. Use it in wellness tonics, vinaigrettes and everyday cooking.

What is the "mother" in apple cider vinegar? It's the cloudy strands of proteins, enzymes and friendly bacteria that form during natural fermentation. Vinegar with the mother is raw and unfiltered, which is what people look for in a proper cider vinegar.
What's the difference between raw and pasteurised vinegar? Pasteurised vinegar is heated and filtered, which gives a clear bottle but removes the mother and the live elements. Raw vinegar like ours is left unfiltered and unpasteurised, so it keeps them.
How do I use apple cider vinegar? In salad dressings and marinades, splashed into stews and sauces to brighten them, for pickling, or diluted in water as a wellness tonic. Always dilute it rather than drinking it neat, to protect your teeth.
How should I store vinegar? Keep it in a cool, dark cupboard with the lid sealed. It's very stable and long-lasting; raw cider vinegar may develop more sediment over time, which is normal.
