Moyen-OrientCette recette du Moyen-Orient est saine, nutritive et très facile à préparer. Il vous suffit de pois chiches bio, de tahini, de citron, d'ail, d'huile d'olive et d'épices. Vous aurez également besoin d'un saladier moyen, d'un mixeur et de 15 minutes maximum. Ingredients
- cooked chickpea 400 g
- sea salt 1/2 tsp
- tahini 2 tbsp
- 1/2 lemon - juiced
- 1 large garlic clove squeezed (or 2 small)
- olive oil 2 tbsp + 1 tbs (for topping)
- ground cumin 1 tsp
- cold water 1-2 tbs
- black pepper (for taste)
- ground smoked pepper for topping
Directions
- Cooking dried chickpea: soak chickpea in water overnight. On the next day, wash it and cook it with a bit of salt until soft. Put aside until it gets cold.
- In a medium bowl, place cooked organic chickpea, add garlic, lemon juice, tahini and a 1-2 tbs of cold water.
- Use the kitchen blender to blend everything until it becomes smooth.
- Add a bit of more water if needed (it will make your houmous more fluffy). Add cumin, salt, pepper and mix together (you can also use blender here))
- Top it with a bit of extra virgin olive oil and smoked pepper.
- Serve it with bread, breadsticks, olives, pickles and cut veggies.
- Tip: Always use organic chickpea!
